Scott and Pam's Place in New Mexico

Scott and Pam actually live about 25 miles east of Albuquerque in a town called Edgewood. When I visited, they had just recently purchased and moved into their lovely little house just off historic Route 66 (and I-40, but we try to ignore that). The house has a bit of New Mexico flavor, accentuated by the cow skull Scott put in front (above).

The other occupants of the house, of course, are the seven cats:

Boopsie, who thinks she's a queen.

Chiquita, who's no longer as slim as her namesake.

Gordo, the wussy pussy.

Junior. I saw her only slightly more than Gordo.

Olive, the great hunter.

Trouble. Another near-invisible one.

Besides meeting the cats (some again), I spent a goodly amount of time at a bellydancing event ("Shake and Bake"). The rest of the time we visited, had some very good meals (some at restaurants, some cooked by Pam), and did a few touristy things like taking the tram to the top of Sandia Peak.
