01.  Congress and General Assembly
All Members are invited: 24-27 November 2011 in Istanbul, Turkey. Venue will be the prestigious Halic University, not far from the Sultan’s Palace. The congress on Ottoman Dance will radically revise widespread beliefs on Oriental belly dance.

Canadian national agency provides funding for training in the arts (dance) in preparation for national or international careers.

06.  Isadora Duncan in Athens
In the footsteps of Isadora, the founder of modern dance. The national Dora Stratou Dance Theatre of Athens and the Isadora Duncan International Institute of New York open registrations for a workshop in Athens 9-13 July 2012. Classes, lectures, guided visits, documentation.
