Arabian Nights by Andrew Lang, illustrated by William Dempster, was published by Classic Press, Inc.; Santa Rosa, CA; 1968. This one is part of the Educator Classic Library, is aimed at young people, and includes annotations as well as plentiful illustrations.
The drawings are charming, with graceful flowing lines.
Alas, the book doesn't include "Ali Baba."
At left is, of course, Scheherezade telling stories to the king,
along with her sister, Dinarzade.
